Established in 1977 as the North Albert Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber was very active during the formation of Logan Shire and subsequently Logan City.
In 1979 the name was changed to Logan Chamber of Commerce and Incorporation took place in 1989.
Subsequently the Chamber has actively pursued local issues , working with all Logan City Chambers of Comemrce, continuing to work conjointly with Logan City Council on local issues.
The Chamber has also been involved in various promotional activities among which has been the very successful Business Achiever Awards, and the local Business Expo's.

Unlike other networking groups the Logan Chamber of Commerce will provide a strong voice that will present a link to local government and decision makers. As a lobby group the Chamber's role is to monitor the issues that most affect the Logan business community, and if need be, to petition the relevant organisation or government body to achieve a favourable outcome for the majority of Logan businesses.
